The Villa is a perfect base for a golfing holiday. Not only has the La Torre resort got it's own 18 hole golf course (details below) but when staying there you are also able to play at the Polaris World Mar Menor golf course which currently has 9 holes. Both courses were designed by Jack Nicklaus, and while staying at La Torre you are entitled to a discount! Ask for details when booking your stay.
As if this wasn't enough within about 15 minutes of the Villa are the Roda Golf Course, Serena Golf Course, Mosa Trajectum and Torre Pacheco.
Slightly further afield you could play at La Finca, Las Rambles, Campoar and Villamartin.
It really is a golfers paradise! |
| THE LA TORRE RESORT GOLF COURSE |
 |
Designed by Nicklaus Design, the La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. Provisional distances (metres): (black) 5,350; (blue) 4,934; (white) 4,422; (red) 3,822
This course features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provide added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass has been planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect.
Three lakes will complete the exuberant landscape of this course. One of the shorter courses, the La Torre Golf Resort is ideal for both average players and those with a high handicap. At the same time, La Torre Golf Resort preserves the challenge for experienced players who, teeing off from the furthest tee, will have to devise the appropriate strategy to cover the fairway with the perfect shot. Completed with all the perfect features for practice, La Torre Golf Resort is undoubtedly a mandatory stopover for golf players.
The Villa is adjacent to the 15th green, so you have a wonderful view of the course. Residents are entitled to a discount, so ask for details when you are booking. As well as the wonderful course there is a magnificent clubhouse, a golf academy and a driving range. You can also hire any golfing equipment that you may need. |
